 Summary:

Bound to a man who isn't quite what he seems, Lucy finds her heart—and her future—on the line.

 My Review:
“I love it when God takes a big stirring spoon to plans. That’s when life gets good.”
Can that quote be part of my review? Because I feel as of that quote pretty much sums up this story perfectly. I can say nothing but praises for this book. It's romantic, adventurous, agonizing, burst out laughable, witty, sarcastic (who doesn't like sarcastic), and most of all heart warming.  It's everything a book should be.
“Loves me so much she sometimes has a hard time expressing it.”
Lucy is one of those characters that is immediately relatable. Her involvement with her friends, and the care that she has for the women that she takes under her care is endearing. Her passion for her shelter is evident and the lengths that she'll go to keep it open and running is inspirational.
"Give him all your confusion, your worry, you past. And just let it go. D not go one more day living in fear of defeat. We are more than conquerors."
Alex is one of the gorgeous men that are unattainable, until you can get his attention. And that is what Lucy does. Alex has his own reasons for this facade and they are completely valid, to his understands. He can be adamant in letting people into his life, but the about turn that he takes in this lovely book is full of awe.
"I will praise you because I have been remarkably and wonderfully made."
The two most enjoyable parts of this book would definitely be the witty banter between Lucy and Alex (they really could be mistaken for a married couple) and Lucy's and Alex journey through their faith. However, those AREN'T the only enjoyable parts in this book, the whole book is from its first page of despair, through all the nerd references that there could possibly be, to the ending of peace between all the characters.
"I don't care about the other women, Lucy. Just you, Just like you are."
So read this book, and who knows, this book might change you, I know it has with me.

Seeing Stars By J.Sterling

Summary: 

Walker Rhodes is a hot singing sensation who never settles down, spends too much money gambling and gets in trouble on the daily- at least if you believe all the tabloids. 

Madison Myers is a hard working talent agent assistant thrust into the spotlight one day after Walker pulls her on stage during one of his concerts. She tries to stay away from him, but he keeps chasing her. She is strong in her resolve and he is relentless in his pursuit. The question is... WHY?!?! 


My Review:
"I don't think we ever get over our first love completely."

This book is so heart warming. After the gut wrenching book the was The Perfect Game, i didn'tt know what to expect, and honestly I was a little scared because J. Sterling can deliver a amazing book that is ultimately torturous. But hey NO WORRIES. If you happen to be scared of J. Sterling, this book is like a warm milk to help you rest easy. 
"No problem, I planned on waiting all night if I had to."
When I saw how long or rather how short the book was, I was a little worried that the pacing would be too fast and that there was only going to be one main element in this book, like most of the major NA books: sex. Man did this book drown my expectations., and I'm glad for it. This book is set within a couple of days, but you FEEL those days pass and you still understand the characters like you would with a 400 paged book. The pacing and and the subject of the story was so enduring and endearing. Read this book that's all I'm going to say.

"I didn't "think" I loved him. I knew."
The characters are so lovable right off the bat. Walker is the average rock star that is on every tabloid imaginable, and in the beginning you begin to have a sense of douchbagness around this guy, which makes you want to stop reading... STOP RIGHT THERE. If you feel that way please continue on because you WILL end up doing an about turn and end up loving the guy to smithereens. Now, Madison's foundation in this story is revealed to us in the first chapter. Reading this book was sort of like puzzle, one clue led to the whole thing. Yea, the main plot was obvious but the way J. Sterling sets everything up, she has you anticipating for the revelation, so you continue on. 
"I've never once forgotten about you. Not completely."
This book is so enjoyable, funny, romantic, and, like I said before, heart warming. So if you're looking for those qualities in a book, grab this one.
Now I'm just wondering when I'm going to go to Malibu to meet the love of my life :-)

With Charlie becoming the girl she was never able to be pre-makeover and Aspen showing him how delicious it feels to embrace his inner beast, Dante will have to go somewhere he never thought he’d return to in order to accomplish the impossible: save the girl he’s been assigned to, and keep the girl he loves.

My review:

 This was not what I expected. From the blurb, I honestly thought I was going to have to kill Dante. THANK YOU VICTORIA, for not making this into an emotional-wrecking love triangle because the way you wrote this was BEUTIFUL. 
 "You care about people besides yourself. Like, you really care. Not because of how it makes you feel, but because of how it makes them feel."
Aspen was just so badbutt, she is my inspiration so far in this series. Dante had his moments where I LOVED him and where Ijust wanted to shut his mouth. HES ALIVE, I won't say who, BUT THANK YOU VICTORIA because he was my favorite character in the first book. I loved Charlie, she changed for Dante but she new what she was doing felt off and she told him! She told him what she was doing and how it felt and stood for what she believed in. THAT is what every girl should do. THANK YOU VICTORIA.
I'm now done gushing over her characters.You may now move forward.
"If I had a soul, I'd give it to you." 
Go read this book, if you liked the first one then read this one because there is a WHOLE lot more to this story than you might expect.There is no harm done in reading this book. Believe me when I say that you'll catch yourself laughing out loud, yelling at the characters, and making weird faces trying to be nonchalant while you read. So go read it. I'll leave you alone now.

HEYO! How's it going?

So after a lot of conflicting feeling over which book I'll be reading this spring break, I decided on no particular book. Which means that I'll pick any book on my shelf that I haven't read to read over this course of five days.

Greetings!

HEYO! How's it going?


SO this is my first post, let's see how this goes.

Since it's spring break I decided to start a blog for some odd reason. I can truly say that I'm really excited about this.

 Mainly this blog will be about the books I'm reading. Originally, I was going to become a booktuber but since I'm a spazz bashful before a camera I thought that wasn't a good idea. So here I am (where I'll probably be a spazz too).

NOW hopefully I can post every week because I do tend to read at least one book a week and crochet at least one project every two weeks, though everything this still depends on my school work.

 Anyways, that's the gist of whats going to be happening on this blog. 
Hopefully y'all have a blast here.

 P.S. I am a Christian so after every post, at the very bottom, there will be a different scripture from a chapter of one of the books in the Bible that I feel needs to be shared. I hope you won't be offended.
