Crochet with Books (3)


I'm done with my latest crochet project, and it is a market bag! I've been wanting to make one for the longest time but I was always indecisive. But since I started "Crochet with Books", (I have decided to call it that) I find that my decisions are made a little easier. (I just have to decide which book to chose from now. But hey at least my color choices are narrowed down a bit!)
Anyways... Here is my market bag with colors based on Insurgent by Veronica Roth!


 
I'm done with the "crochet" part of this bag, but my next step for it is to add fabric to the inside, so I can use it for everyday purposes. Until then, I'll mainly be using it (if I don't sell it) for when I go yarn hauling and book hauling. Hope y'all like it! (Because I love it!)

I've figured out what I'm making! And y'all will have to wait and see the final product before I tell all. But here are two pictures to appease y'all!

I'm actually surprised how quickly I'm going through this project. So expect a follow up with the finished product soon! But know that I'm over the hill in love this project.

Next Project

So I've finished two projects that have been based on books. Click here to see my Make It Count crocheted item and click here to see my All Lined Up inspired crochet item. And I love them to death, mainly because they're based on my favorite books.

And since I enjoyed making them, I decided to do another crochet project. This time, I'll be working with a book that has been out for a while now and is the second book of a series... Insurgent.
If you look at my other two projects, you'll notice that the colors chosen were based of the university that the characters attended and that in Insurgent (if you've read the book) there isn't a university, so instead I'll be doing the prominent colors that make up the cover. Which, if y'all can't see the image or haven't seen the cover, is green, brown and a teal-ish color.

What am I going to make you may ask?  Well, I honestly have no idea, if you have any suggestions then please tell me! But I will say that once decide, I'll probably won't tell y'all and will TRY to keep it a surprise.
Anyways wish me luck on this project.
