Changing Forever Promo!
Author: Lisa De Jong
Published Date: June 24th 2015
Synopsis:
I’ve always let my past dictate my future, letting it paint a picture of exactly what I don’t want to be. Where I don’t want to end up.
Drake Chambers is as arrogant as I am stubborn. A college quarterback, a national star. I thought he was just another one of those guys … the type every girl should stay away from, but he’s carrying more than the weight of the football team on his shoulders.
He unravels the feelings and beliefs I’ve held onto for so long.
I thought we had it all figured out. Two people who’d finally found their happily ever after, but the past always has a way of sneaking into the present.
With one decision, everything changes … forever.

Tell us about your jersey #. Is it significant to you and why? If you had the chance to change it, would you?

I started playing football when I was in elementary school. The team
was called the Hawks – a play on Hawkeyes I think. Anyway, my number then was
twelve. It was the only number my dad ever watched me play in, and he’s the
reason I played as long as I did. A part of me thought he’d still see me play
as long as I still wore #12.
In middle school and high school, I didn’t have much competition so they gave me twelve. Going into college, I let my potential schools know how important it was for me to keep it. It all worked out which was good because that’s the only number I could ever play in.
